Michael P. McGuire Ph.D.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Towson University where I teach a variety of courses covering the topics of data mining, networking, operating systems security, and web technologies.  I also teach the capstone course in the Information Technology program where students work on real IT projects for real clients.  My research interests include data mining, cloud-based distributed data models, sensor data management, data warehousing, environmental informatics, and information visualization.
